Privacy Policy
MyBooks (clients.iversoncreative.com)
Effective date: July 29, 2026
Who we are
MyBooks is operated by Iverson Creative LLC, a New Mexico company. It is the tool we use to send clients estimates, invoices, and documents for signing, and to keep our own books. Questions about this policy: hello@patrickiverson.com.
What we collect
Client and contact records. Your name, company, mailing address, and our notes about the work, plus contact details for the people we work with: name, email, phone, and title.
Billing records. Estimates, invoices, line items, amounts, PO numbers, credits, and your payment history with us.
Estimate acceptance. When you accept an estimate online, we record your name, email, IP address, and the date and time.
Document signing. When you sign a document, we record your name, title, and business name, the signature you draw, the exact statement you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address, and your browser and device information (the user agent string). We record a cryptographic fingerprint of the document so it can be shown later that it was not altered, and we store the signed PDF. We also record when you view a document sent for signing, and we get an email notification of that view.
Payments. Payments run through Stripe. Your card number never touches MyBooks; we store only Stripe's reference IDs. Stripe Tax uses your mailing address to calculate sales tax.
Receipts and attachments. Files we attach to our own records, such as receipts.
Banking. MyBooks syncs Iverson Creative's own bank transactions from Mercury (read-only) so we can reconcile our books. That is our financial data, not yours, though references to your payments appear in it.
What we do not collect. No analytics tools, no advertising or tracking cookies, and no card numbers.
Why we collect it
To estimate, invoice, and get paid for our work, to carry out and record document signing, to calculate sales tax correctly, and to keep honest books and legal records.
Who else touches the data
We use these service providers: Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), Stripe (payments and sales tax), Mercury (banking), and Resend (email delivery). They process data only to provide these services. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
The only cookie MyBooks sets is a first-party session cookie for our own login. There are no analytics and no advertising cookies. Because we do no third-party tracking, a browser's Do Not Track signal has nothing to change; every visitor is treated the same way.
How long we keep it
Signed documents and their audit records (signature images, timestamps, IP addresses, document fingerprints) are kept indefinitely, because they are the legal record of the agreement. Invoices and payment records are kept as accounting and tax records for as long as those purposes require. Other records, such as view logs, unaccepted estimates, and client contact details, are kept while we work together and are securely disposed of when no longer reasonably needed.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, which is responsible for card-data security (PCI compliance). Signed documents and signature images are stored privately and served only through access-controlled links. Access to the data is limited to Iverson Creative LLC.
Your choices
If you have a question about the information we hold, or want something corrected or deleted, contact us at hello@patrickiverson.com. We will help where we can. Two limits: we cannot delete signed agreements or their audit records, and we cannot delete billing records we are required to keep for accounting and tax purposes.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
Children
MyBooks is a business tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
